Before my mum passed away unexpectedly, I told her I wanted to take a year out of university to chase my dream of starting a clothing brand. I expected hesitation. Instead, she smiled and said:
“I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I didn’t let you give it a go.”
That was the last big conversation we had. Her belief in me lit a fire I’ve carried ever since. And that’s how Bound Legacy was born — not as a business idea, but as a tribute.
My mum was light — pure, selfless, and joyful. She found beauty in the little things. The kind of person who made strangers feel seen and made ordinary days feel special.
When she passed, I made her a silent promise:
- To live like she did.
- To pour love into everything I create.
- To remind people — through fashion, through storytelling, through connection — that life is fragile, but it’s also beautiful.
